How do I register my child at a Palominas ESD school?

We are thrilled to welcome new members to our community! Please visit our Registration page for the information about enrolling your child at one of our schools. You may download and print a copy of the registration forms and bring the completed forms, together with the required documentation, to the main office of the school your child will attend.

What do I need to do if my child will be absent from school?

It is very important that the school is notified as soon as possible if a student will be absent. Voicemail systems are in place at each school so parents/guardians can call in the event of an illness. Please state the type of illness when you call. For the safety of our students, if we have not heard from you by 10:45 a.m., we will call you to verify the absence. In the event of unsuccessful phone verification, we require a note from the parent explaining the absence.

Does your school offer breakfast and lunch?

We operate an excellent nutrition program at our district schools. Our cafeterias serve breakfast and lunch every school day for a reasonable price. We also participate in the federal free and reduced price lunch program for those who qualify. For more information or to apply for free/reduced meals, please see our district Food Services page.

What if my child requires medication during the school day?

We will administer medication in accordance with state regulations and with physician and parental approval. Please complete our medication authorization form and bring medications in the original, labeled packaging to the front office. You will find the medication form on our Registration page.

Do you provide transportation services?

We are pleased to provide our students with safe, reliable transportation to and from school each day. We consider bus riding a privilege and expect all students to adhere to the rules for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. What is Infinite Campus and how do I get a username and password to use it?

Infinite Campus is just another way we keep communication between home and school strong. It provides you with almost real-time access to your child’s grades, attendance history, and other important information. To receive your login information, please call the front office at your child’s school. You can also call our technology department at (520) 366.6204 x 111 for help using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Does Palominas ESD offer Before/After School Care?

The Palominas ESD offers an excellent Before/After School Care program for kindergarten through eighth grade students. We currently offer this program at Coronado Elementary School, and we provide transportation to and from Palominas Elementary School for students who need it.
